Dear KASA member,

Currently, a vacancy exists on the KASA Board of Directors for representatives from the following regions:

• Region A/Western Lakes (replacing Randy McCallon, Calloway Co./2002-2008) 
• Region H/Lake Cumberland (replacing Marlene Haney, Pulaski Co./2004-2008)
• Region J/North East (replacing Kelley Crain, Fleming Co./2003-2008)

As a member of KASA in the region, we ask that you participate in the nomination process for electing your board representative. Nominations will be accepted through Wednesday, October 15, 2008, with an election conducted shortly thereafter.

New board members will serve a three-year term, attend board meetings in the spring and fall of each year, and coordinate the regions annual meeting.  KASA will provide travel reimbursement.
