Session Breakdown:

Part 1: Role of the Evaluator

Dates: Sept. 14 & Oct. 5

This session of the Certified Evaluation Training module deals with the role of the evaluator; how the Danielson Framework is used in Kentucky; completing an observation using the framework; hearing a rating team discuss the framework and ratings assigned to the lesson; and discussion on team calibration. Each participant will need to come prepared to use their district’s evaluation document for this session.

Part 2: Refining Scripting, Observing, and Ratings

Dates: Sept. 21 & Oct. 12

This session of the Certified Evaluation Training module deals with refining the role of the evaluator; utilizing the Danielson Framework; completing an observation using the framework; leading a post conference evaluation meeting; and discussion on team calibration. Each participant will need to come prepared to use their district’s evaluation document for this session.

Note: Participants must bring their district’s evaluation document for both sessions.
