Who is eligible?

Be a student on track to graduate from a Kentucky public school in spring 2026. This application window is currently open for Jefferson County High School Seniors. One scholarship will be awarded.

How will it be awarded?

KASA staff will process and mail the scholarship check to the student’s college or university upon receipt of the completed activation form, proof of graduation, and confirmation of fall 2026 enrollment.

1. Download the Scholarship Application .
2. Submit a personal letter explaining your financial need and reasons for pursuing higher education.
   • Letter must be typed.
   • Letter must be written by the applicant.
3. Submit a short video explaining what “Pay It Forward” means to you and how education will help you grow.
   • Maximum video length: 3 minutes.
   • File name format: PIFScholarship_FirstnameLastName_District
   • Submit as a YouTube or Vimeo link.
4. Submit two typed letters of recommendation from high school personnel.
5. Submit a transcript including GPA, class size, and ACT/SAT scores.
