Mike Ford

KASA's Director of Affiliate Partnerships

Mr. Mike Ford is a highly respected Kentucky education leader with more than 40 years of dedicated service. He spent nearly two decades as Director of Pupil Personnel for Boone County Schools, where he built a strong reputation for his deep expertise in pupil personnel law, student services, and school policy. Throughout his career, Mike has served in influential leadership roles at both the regional and state levels, including two terms as President of the Kentucky Directors of Pupil Personnel (KDPP). In recognition of his impact and commitment to the profession, he was named Kentucky Director of Pupil Personnel of the Year in 2017. He served on the KASA Board of Directors and numerous committees. Upon his retirement, he received KASA's prestigious Distinguished Service Award in 2023.

In his role as Director of Affiliate Partnerships, Mike continues to support and strengthen the work of DPPs across Kentucky, bringing his experience, insight, and passion to advancing the field.
