Leading Gen Z: Supports and Skills for the Next Generation of K-12 Teachers

Teachers born after 1997 - members of Generation Z – are a generation of teachers who see and experience teaching differently than generations before them. Gen Z is diverse, connected, technoholic, socially conscious, and pragmatic, and their needs as novice teachers are different from generations before them. In this session we will explore specific practices school leaders can use to support Gen Z teachers through induction and mentoring.
